I wanted a simple blue patterned rug for our family room. I loved the colors of this rug...soft blue and cream. It is soft enough under your feet. There is some texture between the stripes, but overall it is flat in texture. My main complaint is how much it sheds. This is my first wool rug so maybe this is common, but it is definitely requiring extra vacuuming. We have dark hardwoods around the rug and the shedding is very visible. Overall, I like this rug for its colors and design. I have only had it for 3 weeks, so I cannot speak to its quality long term.

So pretty- sheds a lot initially like most new carpets do, but just vacuum it a lot. It really is a good value.
